2023 Mount Saint Joseph Qualifier

Cryptic found immense success in their first qualifier of the Centerstage season. The team ranked 6th overall in robot matches and was the Finalist Alliance 1st Pick. In addition to their extraordinary robot performance, Cryptic won several awards:

2023 Garrett County Qualifier
In their second qualifier, Cryptic improved their designs and learned from their mistakes after their first qualifier. The team ranked 2nd overall in robot matches and was the Finalist Alliance Captain. Cryptic won the following awards:
- 2nd Place Connect Award: Given to the team that best connects with their community through STEM outreach events
- 3rd Place Motivate Award: Given to the team that best spreads FIRST and robotics to the community.

2023-2024 State Championships
At the long awaited State Championships, Cryptic ran into a few issues with their robot. However, the team was able to fix them throughout the day. The team ranked 13th overall in robot matches due to their initial robot issues. Although their robot encountered several problems, their disappointment soon turned into excitement during the award ceremony. Cryptic won the following award:
- 3rd Place Inspire Award: The most prestigious award in FIRST, given to the most well-rounded teams with an exceptional robot and a profound impact on the community. The award was extremely hard to obtain at the State Championship level!

2023-2024 World Championships
Traveling all the way to Houston, Texas, it was Cryptic's first time attending the World Championships. As a result of our generous sponsors, our team could afford everything we needed for the trip! The team ranked 9th overall in the Ochoa Division, with the highest being 2nd in the division. Unfortunately Cryptic wasn't selected for an alliance, but we enjoyed the week spent at Worlds and made lots of new friends and connections. Thank you so much sponsors for your unyielding support! Additionally, we'd like to thank all the seniors for helping us get to where we are today. We are extremely excited for next year's season: FIRST Dive!
